The approximately 4" blade is laminated carbon steel from Brusletto in Norway. The handle is spalted maple (spalting is caused by a fungus growing in and coloring the wood), with a brass guard and elk antler bordered by white, black, and grey spacers. The Nordic Primitive comes with a custom-fitted leather sheath, available in traditional or waterproof finish.
